Fire by Design SCG-FS Field Serviceable Standard Capacity AWEIS Electronic Gas Fire Pit Ignition System provides a high quality component that can be used to complete a DIY fire pit project. The patented All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS) features a reliable blend of technology and components to offer a simple and quick ignition to a gas fire feature. The 316 marine grade stainless steel control box safely houses the electronic components to withstand the elements in wind, rain and other inclement weather. The unit operates on either 30 VDC, 120VAC or 24 VAC power to start the hot surface igniter, which ignites the pilot light. After the pilot is lit, the thermocouple senses the heat and transfers the electronic signal to open the main gas valve. Fire by Design's new "Field Serviceable" AWEIS technology has drastically decreased controller/igniter failures and makes the process of replacing parts much easier and more cost-effective. NOTE: The 24VAC model includes a power supply, the 30VDC and 120VAC models do not and must be purchased separately.
The AWEIS Standard Capacity is rated for a max BTU output of 290,000 BTU with a maximum inlet pressure of 0.5 PSI. The valve features 1/2-inch FPT fittings to connect with other gas components.

- Shipping Process: Many of our products ship from our warehouse in North Liberty, Iowa, ensuring quick and flexible delivery. Custom-finished items or those shipping directly from manufacturers may require additional processing time.
- Standard Ground Shipping: Items under 150 pounds typically ship via FedEx, UPS, USPS, or similar carriers to ensure fast processing and delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us for assistance.
- Standard Freight Shipping: Items over 150 pounds ship via freight with free curbside delivery and lift gate service. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery, so please provide a valid phone number at checkout. Upon delivery, inspect the shipment and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Spotix Inc. is not liable for damages not reported at delivery.
- Shipping Options:
- $9.95 Flat Rate Shipping: Orders under $99 ship for a flat rate of $9.95 within the contiguous 48 states. Spotix Inc. determines the carrier and service level for these shipments.
- Free Standard Shipping: Orders over $99 qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states. For freight shipments, this includes curbside delivery and lift gate services. Additional fees may apply for hard-to-reach areas.
- Expedited Shipping Options: Expedited shipping is available for most items. Contact a Sales Representative to confirm availability and pricing.
- International Shipping: Free shipping does not apply to international orders. We frequently ship to Canada; contact our Sales Representatives for costs. International returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and do not follow our standard return policy.

Return Policy
- Return Eligibility: Items must be unused, unassembled, and in original (intact) packaging. Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery and shipped back within 14 days of approval.
- Non-Returnable Items: Custom or made to order products, used or assembled items, certain brands or items marked as non-returnable in the description are not eligible for return.
- Manufacturer Defects & Shipping Damage: If your return request is due to a suspected manufacturer defect or shipping damage, we will first attempt to work with you to repair the product. If repair is not possible within reason, we may assist in replacing the item. These situations will follow our shipping policy or the manufacturer's warranty process.
- Return Process: To start a return, complete our return form for approval. Photos may be required. Once approved, you’ll receive a Return Authorization, return label(s) and instructions. Orders shipped via freight carrier must be returned via freight carrier.
- Refunds & Shipping: Refunds are processed after inspection. Shipping costs, including both outbound and return, will be deducted from your refund. Spotix reserves the right to charge a restocking fee based on the condition of the returned item. Returns outside the specified process or timeframe may not be eligible for a refund.
